Beschreibung
Travertino can be applied to any solid surface – glass, metal, plastic or wood, etc. It is applied with a squeegee, brush or even a pad – whatever the type of surface allows. The applied layer can be 1 to 2 mm thick, depending on the desired texture. It doesn’t need to be smoothed. Let the travertino stand a little and scrape in the desired directions with a suitable tool. Wait until the surface is no longer sticky. Depending on the temperature, this can take between half an hour and 2 hours. When the surface is no longer sticky, it is smoothed with a spatula with light pressure. The elevations are perfectly flattened and the scratched parts are retained as a bas-relief. Depending on the type and size of the scratch, you can get any possible relief with the texture of an ancient stone. After smoothing, the embossed surface can be colored with acrylic paints or treated with any antique pastes, pearl acrylic, bitumen, etc. in accordance with the usual decoupage techniques for treating embossed surfaces. The finished surface can serve as a base for sticking pictures, objects or shapes, stencil reliefs and anything else that your imagination brings out.
ATTENTION: In contrast to other pastes, Travertino is extremely firm after drying and can hardly be sanded and reworked. The product is water-based, environmentally friendly and does not emit harmful substances during application and use. The tools are cleaned with water.
Suitable for painting with chalk paint.
